What is a Matching Gift Program?
Many employers will match dollar for dollar or more the amount you give to the charity you are involved in. In fact, the majority of Fortune 500 companies support their employees giving back to their community.  An employer matching gift program is a great way to effectively double your donation to Haven House.

Why Do Employers Match Gifts?
Because a matching gift program allows businesses to participate in strengthening the community where it operates and where their staff work, live, and play. It is a simple and effective way of building community support for the company and motivating its employees to get involved in the community.

How do I get started?
The place to begin is with your company’s Human Resources Department, they will provide you with the simple form you need to fill out and send to Haven House.  If they do not administer the company’s Matching Gift Program, they can direct you to the appropriate department.  If your company doesn’t match funds, ask your company if they will.
