OUR FINANCIAL OUTLOOK

Haven House is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization, federal tax ID# 95-6119485  offering completely free services to the community. 

We raise funds through generous contributions from concerned individuals, foundations, friends in our community and local companies who all understand and graciously support the programs and goals of Haven House.  We are also funded by: Office of Emergency Services (OES), Alcohol and Drug Program Administration (ADPA), and Community Services Block Grant (CSBG). In the 2007-2008 fiscal year, 42.5% of our funding came from public contributions, 57.5% came from private sources.

Haven House strives to utilize funds in an efficient manner.  Administrative and fundraising costs are kept to a minimum so that we may provide the many free programs and services needed by the victims of domestic violence.  Currently, 74% of funds are used for programs and services.
